It is currently rated #1 on our best places to stay in Gatlinburg, Tennessee list as it has many features that vacationers look for when they visit Gatlinburg. The Lodge at Buckberry Creek is the ideal accommodation for a honeymoon, anniversary or romantic getaway. The Adirondack architecture sets a rustic mood situated in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is far enough away from the noise and traffic of downtown Gatlinburg, yet close enough that you can dip into town anytime you wish…, this is definitely an experience you won’t find in any of the hotels in downtown Gatlinburg, TN.

The upper-level rooms of the Buckberry Lodge have wood-burning fireplaces while the lower rooms have gas fireplaces. The views of the Smoky Mountains off the balconies are simply breathtaking. Even the dining room has a balcony that you can have a romantic meal on and enjoy the incredible scenery. Before dinner, you may feel like working up an appetite and taking a romantic stroll down the half-mile trail to a creek that has a pavilion and fire pit for you to enjoy.

Other amenities of The Lodge at Buckberry Creek include free internet and a continental breakfast. The dinner has gotten great reviews even though the prices are on the high side…everyone we talk to says that it’s worth it! As far as the rates go, they range from $180-$460 a night (last we checked), so this may not be geared towards families or budget-minded vacations. Granted, there are many cabin rentals cabins that have rates similar to this, but the Lodge at Buckberry Creek is constantly rated high for their service, quality, and offerings. You simply won’t find a better “hotel” experience in the Gatlinburg, TN. If you do, be sure to let us know!
