Review & insider tips of the new Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. seafood restaurant in Gatlinburg, TN in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Bubba Gump Shrimp in GatlinburgIf you’ve ever seen Forrest Gump and are planning on visiting Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, TN then you have to check out Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. It’s a nostalgic salute to the movie that became an instant classic. Inside you’ll find a giftshop that has a ton of merchandise featuring Forrest Gump, Bubba Gump, shrimp, and even Jenny. There are signs, quotes, and all sorts of memories from the movie that remind you of all the good things in life…like…sweet tea! If you’re not a fan of shrimp, don’t worry. They have all sorts of items on the menu. I highly suggest the “Boat Trash”…don’t ask…just get it if you like fried seafood! Bubba Gump’s opened on June 16, 2007 right on the parkway in downtown Gatlinburg at traffic light No. 8 on the corner of the Parkway and the Historic Nature Trail Road. Definitely make this one of your places to eat in Gatlinburg during your next visit. It’s probably one of the only restaurants that you’ll tell all the friends and family about back home!

  1. Looking forward to my upcoming visit in September for my honeymoon!! We love seafood and can’t wait to go to Bubba Gump. The food is absolutely delicious!! Seafood lovers beware….wear expandable clothing!!!

  2. I’ve visited Bubba Gump’s in Charleston, South Carolina and San Francisco, California. I plan on heading out to Gatlinburg next week and the one place I insist on eating is Bubba Gump’s! I LOVE their seafood, and I am not much of a seafood fan. It is a WONDERFUL place to eat!

  3. Seven of us chose Bubba Gumps for our night out of the cabin on girl’s weekend trip last October. GREAT!!! Food and service was wonderful. So good that we are planning to go back this weekend with twelve ladies. Can’t wait!!

  4. My wife and I visited Gatlinburg on Feb.9,2012. We visited the Bubba Gump there. Found a hair in our food, it tasted bad, got sick that night and the next day. I would not recommend the resturant to any one.

  5. Food and service was pretty good, the problem we ran in to was GRATUITY they added 8.00 to our bill for 2 checks which was $16.00 for tips we had 7 ppl in our party and 2 were children under the age of 5!! dont like being forced into tippng

  6. Me, my boyfriend, and another couple
went a couple nights ago but our waitress
was very rude all night, then me and the
other girl I was with went on outside to
wait and as soon as we walk out our waitress
and one we didnt even have as our waitress
Kept standing by our table being all nice
and flirty with the guys and even told him
that he should smack his girlfriend and both waitresses kept winking at the guys. I find that totally disrespectful, her name was Olga or something similar so if u go and shes your waitress GoodLuck!

  7. My wife and I ate at Bubba Gumps in Gatlinburg last weekend. I would like to order her a shirt to remember the great time we had. Please advise if shirts can be ordered on line and what to do. Thank you very much.
