Our trip started out badly - we walked in the front door and "interrupted" the young lady's personal phone call. When she finally decided to notice us, she told whoever she was calling to "hold on, there are some people here". She then sent us thru to the dining room where we were met by no-one. After waiting a few minutes, we went back to the front desk and the young lady said she'd tell the hostess, who apparently was yukking it up in the kitchen, that people were waiting to be seated. Our waiter, Zak?, was excellent, the food was excellent except the calimari, which was like nothing anyone had seen before. Unfortunately, our waiter failed to tell the diner this was some odd calimari so it was quite a shock when the plate arrived. All in all, despite our initial treatment, and except for the calimari eater, we were delighted with the Lodge and the food. We dined at The Lodge on Saturday.
