One place you dont have is the Rocky Top Inn and yes its not fancy but its clean and the people treat you like family.Jay and his crew are just great and do everything to make your stay pleasant.They will bend over backwards to take care of you and tell you all the best places to eat,shop,etc.They are the nicest people you would ever want to meet.I can stay anywhere i please but i choose the Rocky Top because of the people,value and great location,so if you want fancy go spend alot money some place else,but if you want clean rooms,value for your money and some of the best people anywhere then its the Rocky Top.

The Peddler Steakhouse and The Best Italian Cafe and Pizzeria are both awesome, do NOT miss them during your stay.
The Park Grill is a great place to eat while in the smokies, food is great, buffet bar is awesome and service is excellent.
You don’t have Chop House listed and I can tell you that I have travelled up and down the East Coast trying to find a really good steak and finally! You can’t beat the tenderness and OMG it was absolutely delicious. Always a staple in our trip to Tennessee.
I have to say that I am VERY glad that you don’t have Howard Johnson’s hotel in Gatlinburg on your list. It was awful. Cleanliness - okay. The beds were HARD. We booked it, not knowing, for 2 nights and left after the first night. They have a nice fireplace (real fireplace) where you have to get your own wood from their periodic stockpiles around the outside of the rooms. Would have been nicer if we had matches or a lighter. Went to the front desk and she said she would give us one of her own 4 personal lighters……..we had to go to a liquor store a bit away in our search to finally get a lighter. Not returning there.
Love Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and we go there every year around Thanksgiving. Unbelievably nice people and really beautiful surroundings.
